I do not really have hobbies in the relaxing sense. I have things that tell me the truth. Every one of these gives feedback you cannot argue with, which is rarer than it should be.
It is the same across all six. They punish force, they reward preparation, and they will not let you talk your way out of the result. That is why I keep going back to them, and it is most of what I have learned about doing anything well.
The one that shaped me most. Started with my grandfather and never stopped.
The same motion, twelve times, while the lane changes underneath you.
Aim small, miss small. Everything is decided before you let go.
A guess about where they are, tested every single cast.
You cannot force it. The harder you try, the worse it gets.
Everything that keeps the day safe was decided back at the dock.
